Herbie Floyd

Meet Herbie Floyd. Herbie discovered yoga after being a dedicated football player in high school and obtaining various injuries throughout his years on the field. Yoga asana has truly helped to heal his body in a consistent and sustainable way. That aside, he expresses how more than anything else this practice has helped his mind and spirit. Herbie has dealt with anxiety since he was young boy; trying countless methods throughout the years to help calm his mind; but it was only until he turned inward that things truly changed.

After developing his own personal yoga practice, Herbie knew that he wanted to share how beneficial yoga could be for any individual. He helps his students recognize what unique aspects of yoga resonate with them, and how they can bring these powerful components into their lives outside the studio!

He completed his 200-hour teacher training in 2018 and is currently completing (and almost done with) his 100hr Chakra Power Yoga Up Level Mentorship with Nicole Burrill. Herbie gives a high-paced Hot Power class, with great music, strong heat, yet ample time to settle down and ease into a deep, peaceful rest. He speaks genuinely to how yoga is so much more than the physical poses that we do. Herbie makes it a priority of his to be vulnerable, authentic, and compassionate to each and every student that enters his class.
